RDTC Supports the 23rd Women's Club Town Clean Up
The Rochester Democratic Town Committee will be joining the 23rd Annual Women's Club Cleanup of our town streets. Joining cleanup efforts is a great way to support environmental change and awareness. The RDTC supports removing harmful and ugly waste from our streets and the appropriate recycling and disposal of unwanted items. The "Last Class" Screening
The Democratic Town Committees of Acushnet, Fairhaven, Mattapoisett, and Rochester, together with the Plymouth County Democratic League, will host a screening of The Last Class , a documentary featuring former U.S. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30 PM at the AMC Theater in Dartmouth . The Red Hat Initiative
The Norwegian red hat ( nisselue ) is a historical symbol of Norwegiannational identity and patriotism. The red pointed hat with a tassel representsthe nisse, a mythical, mischievous gnome. The hat was a powerful, nonviolent form of resistance against the Nazi occupation during WWII, symbolizing cultural identity and providing a subtle visual declaration of defiance. RDTC 2026 CAUCUS
The Rochester Democratic Town Committee will be hosting its 2026 Caucus on Monday March 9th at 6pm . Early registration will start at 5:30 pm. RDTC Winter Food Drive
The Rochester Democratic Town Committee is coordinating a non-perishable food drive to benefit local families in need. The drive will run February 2-16 . Collection boxes are located at Rochester Town Hall, Plumb Memorial Library, and Lloyd’s Market, 8 Hartley Road. All donations will be delivered to Damien’s Pantry in Wareham, whose mission it is to help end hunger in the South Coast region of Massachusetts.
